NYACOL® to Exhibit at nano tech 2018, Tokyo Japan

ASHLAND, MA – NYACOL® Nano Technologies, Inc. will be exhibiting for the fourth straight year at nano tech 2018 from February 14 – February 16, 2018 at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo Japan, East Halls 4-6 and Conference Tower.

NYACOL® Develops Ultra High Purity Colloidal Silica Series, NexSil™ DP7500

ASHLAND, MA – NYACOL® Nano Technologies, Inc. is pleased to introduce a new line of ultra high purity colloidal silica nanomaterials known as the NexSil DP7500 series.   These products are available in particle sizes of 25 nm (DP7525), 60 nm (DP7560) and 100 nm (DP7590) and are being produced using proprietary technology.  The products are low in viscosity and relatively narrow in particle size distribution.

Applications include silicon wafer polishing slurries, CMP slurries, catalyst raw materials, chromatography packing, and binders for advanced ceramic systems where the ultra high purity is required.

NexSil DP7500 series ultra high purity colloidal silica sols are supplied at pH 8 and are non-hazardous. All metals present are less than 1 ppm total and most metals are in the 50 – 100 ppb range.

NYACOL® Introduces a New Grade of High Purity Colloidal Alumina

ASHLAND, MA – NYACOL® Nano Technologies, Inc. is excited to introduce a new grade of high purity colloidal alumina utilizing new technology and innovative design. NYACOL AL27 is a boehmite dispersion with dispersed particle sizes of 60 – 90 nm at 20% Al2O3 content. The product can be used as a binder for high temperature refractories and ceramics, catalyst wash-coats, catalyst formulation, precision polishing and paper coating.

Nyacol Introduces Ce120/10 for Ceramics and Precision Polishing Applications

ASHLAND, MA – Nyacol® Nano Technologies, Inc. is pleased to introduce Ce120/10 which is a next generation colloidal cerium oxide dispersion with a mean particle size of 100 – 140 nm.

NYACOL Ce120/10 can be used as an abrasive for STI and ILD CMP processes, and for precision polishing of glass, quartz, displays and glass hard disks. Ce120/10 provides high removal rates at low solids concentration enabling a highly cost effective polishing slurry.

NYACOL® TiSol A, Colloidal Titanium Dioxide is Non-Corrosive

NYACOL® Nano Technologies, Inc. is very pleased to announce a classification change to NYACOL TiSol A from corrosive to non-corrosive. We now have conclusive data (Corrositex) supporting this important reclassification.

Corrositex is an in vitro method used to determine the dermal corrosive potential of chemicals and chemical mixtures. Therefore, while TiSol A mixture has a typical pH of 1.5, we can safely and confidently market this product as non-corrosive. This determination also means that the material does not meet the dangerous goods criteria with regard to transport or handling.

NYACOL TiSol A is designed for use in coatings and catalyst applications, but is also used effectively as a transparent UV absorber. The product has excellent transparency attributes due to its small particle size.

Ce80/10 – NYACOL’s Next Generation Cerium Oxide

ASHLAND, MA – Nyacol® Nano Technologies, Inc. is pleased to introduce Ce80/10, which is a next generation cerium oxide replacing its predecessor NYACOL DP6279.

NYACOL Ce80/10 is an 80 nm colloidal cerium oxide dispersion that can be used as an abrasive for STI and ILD CMP processes and for precision polishing of glass and quartz. The product can be used as an additive in environmental catalysts, as it demonstrates excellent retention of surface area over a wide temperature range.
