Ashland, Massachusetts – NYACOL® Nano Technologies, Inc., a leading global supplier of colloidal materials, is pleased to announce a new development in colloidal TiO2. The technology enables precise control of the dispersed size in the range of 30 – 200 nm. The products are negatively charged and supplied at alkaline pH, and offer the formulator a new alternative for incorporating nano-scale TiO2 in coatings and other formulated products.
Typical solids are 20% TiO2, but higher loadings are possible. The TiSol B series products are ultrahigh purity. The products are the anatase crystal phase as supplied and are highly photocatalytic for self-cleaning coatings. Other uses include oxidation catalysts, catalyst wash coats, UV blocking coatings and fibers, and precision polishing abrasives.
